Scrum Master duties include managing timelines, resolving problems and coaching team members on Agile methodologies. Ultimately, you'll help create self-organizing teams that are flexible and fully productive during sprints. You should have excellent knowledge of the scrum framework, with all its artifacts and techniques. You'll also need the ability to coordinate people and projects (occasionally facilitating changes) with your mind set on deliverables.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage each project's scope and timeline
- Ensure the team follow the scrum framework, values, processes and practices
- Facilitate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups
- Help the team maintain their burndown charts
- Coach team members in Agile frameworks
- Lead, train and coach the organisation in its scrum framework
- Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
- Be the point of contact for external communications
- Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
- Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
- Solve problems- resolve conflicts
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Significant experience in agile software development
- Experience in a scrum master role and good knowledge of Agile frameworks
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Experience of successfully delivering some level of business process change
- Must have worked on 5 Business Change Programmes or Projects
- Experience of working with internal company staff members, external suppliers & external customers
- Organised, professional and with a "can do" attitude

- Experience of working for an IT consultancy
- SAFe Scrum Master
- SAFe Advanced Scrum Master
- BCS EXIN Practitioner Certificate in Agile Scrum Master
